Chicopee Concrete has an immediate opening for a Diesel Mechanic.

Candidate will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of a fleet of Concrete Trucks, Tractors and Trailers in a fast paced environment while maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment throughout the shop. We are looking for candidates with a great attitude, work ethic and that are self motivated.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years old or older
• High School diploma or greater
• At least 1 year of relevant experience or tech school graduate
• Must posses complete set of hand tools for heavy duty trucks
• Valid drivers license – CDL or willingness to get a CDL preferred
• Have effective communication skills and be willing to work as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

Diagnose, inspect and repair electrical, cooling, lubricating, braking systems, drive trains, suspensions, power steering units, hydraulic systems, and PTO systems.

Perform all levels of preventative maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment.

Maintain work area appearance and adhere to safety guidelines
